Crescent Moon and Morning Star

As I have studied this one for so long now, I find there are several meanings and beliefs and what seems to a not knowing for sure meaning in our own history books.

As I was reading with my son in his history lesson, they show this as the great and wonderful Ottoman Empire who defeated the Christians. Such a great victory for them.

Yet, when I see this, I'm reminded of Lucifer, I will have clips from different sites hear to show you why. I will also be adding more to this as I go along. The Morning Star noted in the Bible. For its first use anyway.

Isaiah 14 describes Lucifer who once was a great angel until he fell. Describe here as the morning star seemed to have lost his place. As later on Jesus himself seems to claim it. Now known by many names Lucifer become Satan.

Below I placed the translations from the Hebrew and where to find and clipped from the pages.

Lucifer is a Latin word, literally meaning "light-bearer", which in that language is used as a name for the dawn appearance of the planet Venus, heralding daylight. Use of the word in this sense is uncommon in English, in which "Day Star" or "Morning Star" are more common expressions.

From wikipedia
The crescent moon and star symbol actually pre-dates Islam by several thousand years. Information on the origins of the symbol are difficult to ascertain, but most sources agree that these ancient celestial symbols were in use by the peoples of Central Asia and Siberia in their worship of sun, moon, and sky gods. There are also reports that the crescent moon and star were used to represent the Carthaginian goddess Tanit or the Greek goddess Diana.

A star (or stars) and crescent featuring in some combination form the basis of symbols widely found across the ancient world, with examples attested from the Eastern Mediterranean and Near East to Central Asia and India.[1] Today it is most widely recognized as a symbol of Islam, and is often used alongside the Christian cross and the Star of David to designate Muslim nations, territory or populations.

This symbol or association of distinct symbols, however, predates Zoroastrianism, and the Sassanids. It was used by the Parthians and earlier in Mesopotamia, in modern times known as Iraq. "The Parthian king Mithradates I conquered Mesopotamia around 147 B.C., and Susa in about 140 B.C. A later Parthian king, Orodes II (58-38 B.C.), issued coins at Susa and elsewhere which display a star and crescent on the obverse. The succeeding ruler, Phraates IV (38-3/2 B.C.), minted coins showing either a star alone or a star with crescent moon. In representing the star and crescent on their coins the Parthians thus adopted traditional symbols used in Mesopotamia and Elam more than two millennia before their own arrival in those parts."[4]

The symbol was used on ancient coinage almost as well. Many scholars maintain that the Western interpretation of the symbol arose from Babylonian mythology in which the juxtaposition of Sin (moon god, father of time) and Shamash (supreme ruling sun god, judge of heaven and earth) was a metaphor for the cosmic powers given to the Babylonian king to rule.

Symbolism

The theory that the Ottomans simply adopted a star and crescent symbol from the Byzantines after their conquest of Constantinople is commonly advanced. However, this is difficult to conclusively establish. After the emergence of the Byzantine Empire and the rise of Constantinople as an imperial city, symbols interpreted as a 'star and crescent' appear rather infrequently on Byzantine coins.

Moreover, the question is what the symbol of Constantinople was at the time it was captured by the Turks. And an inspection of the coins issued by the Christian rulers of that city during the thousand years and more it was in their hands, will reveal to the enquirer that though the crescent with a cross within its horns appears occasionally upon the coins of the Emperors of the East, and in one or two instances we see a cross of four equal arms with each extremity piercing a crescent, it is doubtful if a single example of the so-called "star and crescent" symbol can be found upon them."[11]

However, coins are not the only source of evidence, and the star and crescent symbol was in use in the Morea prior to the Ottoman conquest in a context which makes it certain the symbol had nothing to do with Islam or Ottomans. "The earliest church in the Morea to include a saint holding a shield marked by the crescent and star may be St. John Chrysostom, which has been dated on the basis of style to ca. 1300 [...]"[12]

By 1453, when Constantinople was incorporated into the growing Ottoman Empire, the symbols most commonly associated with the city were the Byzantine imperial eagle and the cross. It is worth noting that after the fall of Constantinople, Ivan III introduced the two-headed Byzantine eagle (not a crescent or star and crescent) into the Russian state insignia in an attempt to identify his house with the fallen empire.[13] It is known that pagan practices and imagery were increasingly discouraged and eventually outlawed in the Byzantine Empire (notably by Theodosius I),[14] particularly after Julian the Apostate failed in an attempt to reintroduce paganism.[15] However, explicitly pagan symbols did occasionally continue to appear in an official context.[16]

I will be adding more to this. But the fact of all this. Being not many know or seem to know what to say. It all lines up straight to the same pagan gods and fallen angels and Lucifer stated in the Bible. More on this soon.

The Peace Sign, Nero's Cross

Peace

The Peace Sign or Symbol. What most Christians don't realize is the meaning behind this so called Peace Movement and what this symbol actually means.

Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus (15 December AD 37 – 9 June AD 68),[1] born Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus, also called Nero Claudius Caesar Drusus Germanicus, was the fifth and last Roman emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. Nero's rule is often associated with tyranny and extravagance.[3] He is known for a number of executions, including those of his mother[4] and step-brother, as the emperor who "fiddled while Rome burned",[5] and as an early persecutor of Christians.

The Broken Cross has been called a Neronic Cross or Nero's Cross in recognition of Nero's attempt to suppress the rise of Christianity (Peter's Cross). Being that Peter chose not to be murdered as Christ did. He chose to be hung upside down instead. In turn breaking Christianity would involve breaking the The Cross.

The Holtom creation story is the use of the symbol as an anti-Christian symbol by the Saracens as early as 711 A.D.8 For the Saracens, the image placed on their shields symbolized the breaking of the Christian cross. For some the broken cross was equated to a satanic symbol known as the raven's craw or witch's foot. While Holtom may not have known the historical meaning of the peace symbol, Bertrand Russell was a historian and member of the Fabian Society. A 1970 article in the American Opinion magazine claimed Russell knew the historical occult meaning and intentionally selected an "anti-Christian design long associated with Satanism."

This same symbol was used by Hitler's 3rd Panzer Division from 1941 to 1945. The image on the left is the regimental 3rd Panzer Division symbol. Soviet, Polish, and Hungarian citizens, having suffered from the Nazi massacres, undoubtedly struggled with Holtom’s use of the symbol as a thoughtful way to communicate peace. The symbol can also be found on some of Hitler's SS soldiers' tombstones.

Though most people don't realize this. It may be something you might want to tell them out of Love and NOT go yelling and starting trouble of it. Most in general may actually see this as peace. But gently giving them the information to see themselves the true meaning of it. May help to open their eyes as to what they carry on their necks. Also note there are some that wear this proudly and knows exactly what it means as well.

New Age Symbolism Video.

Reverse of the Great Seal of the United States.Image via Wikipedia
Please note. I do not believe in what these mean, and I do not follow the Religions that symbols are affiliated with. This Site is purely for study purposes and to help others understand what these symbols stand for.

The Lucis Trust is the Publishing House which prints and disseminates United Nations material. It is a devastating indictment of the New Age and Pagan nature of the UN. Lucis Trust was established in 1922 as Lucifer Trust by Alice Bailey as the publishing company to disseminate the books of Bailey and Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society. The title page of Alice Bailey's book, 'Initiation, Human and Solar' was originally printed in 1922, and clearly shows the publishing house as 'Lucifer Publishing CoIn 1923. Bailey changed the name to Lucis Trust, because Lucifer Trust revealed the true nature of the New Age Movement too clearly. (Constance Cumbey, The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow, p. 49). A quick trip to any New Age bookstore will reveal that many of the hard-core New Age books are published by Lucis Trust.

At one time, the Lucis Trust office in New York was located at 866 United Nations Plaza and is a member of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations under a slick program called "World Goodwill". In an Alice Bailey book called "Education for a New Age"; she suggests that in the new age "World Citizenship should be the goal of the enlightened, with a world federation and a world brain." In other words - a One World Government New World Order.

Symbols. What they Mean.

Russian Coat of ArmsWe see this in many places all the time. Keep this in mind as we continue. See more of what it means here at Wikipedia.

I have been doing some serious studying on symbolism and the meaning they have. I was actually surprised at how these simple little pictures we see on Churches, Banks, Government buildings, Libraries, Colleges, Video games, Internet sites, and other various places we see on a daily basis, reflect a story from not only times past but, well into our future.

These simple images and carvings all tell a story of what was and is in most cases of plans from ancient times. Reflecting back on history, and Religious motives. These symbols still have a lot of meaning today, yet most of the time in our busy and rush hour time consumed lives. We really never get to sit back and realize how much these symbols surround us and have major influences in out lives.

I want to take some time on this blog and add to as I can different meanings of these symbols and how important they are to know about, even in today's society. I know that some churches may get mad on some of these posts. So I would like to warn them now. If you really do not want to see truth about some Churches and Religions. You may not like to see what will be posted on this site.

Crecent Moon
Star and Crescent Symbol
Represents Islam. It features prominently on the flags of many countries in the Islamic world, notably Turkey and Pakistan. You will see this many times also as I go along here. Some more information can be found here at Religionfacts.com
I will also be posting some Biblical facts of this symbol as well.

I have studied long and hard to understand the meaning of these. So for someone to come along and tell me it's not true would just be ignorance a failure on that persons side to acknowledge what many have studied and found throughout History.

Now this is the main freemasonic symbol:
Freemason symbol
Again this will be seen many times through these posts.
I will not say that all the information on this is right or not. There seems to be many meanings that go along with this one. The picture comes from this site here.

This is not a posting on who is better or right. Simply a fact of what these symbols mean. Why? because people want to know the truth. I in no way stray from what the Bible teaches and I still love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God Himself was very clear in His 10 commandments not to make ANY graven or carved images to worship. As a matter of fact let us read that before I get started.

Exodus Chapter 20
1 And God spoke all these words, saying:
2 I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
3 Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
4 thou shalt not bow down unto them, nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;
5 and showing mercy unto the thousandth generation of them that love Me and keep My commandments.
